Kuala Gandah Elephant Santuary

For over 30 years, the Kuala Gandah Elephant Conservation Center has worked to translocate elephants disrupting villages or plantations. Initially focused on relocation, the center now also promotes public awareness of elephant conservation. Currently, it cares for around 11 elephants, including three young ones under three years old. One was found alone by a farmer at just six months old.

The center is open daily from 9:00 am – 4:45 pm (closed on major public holidays). Note that elephant rides and bathing activities may be limited.

Great service and excellent drive. Booked for 2 ways transport to quite a far off location outside KL and the trip was smooth, the car was clean and he is very knowledgeable about the area & history. An excellent and exciting tour of agafay on buggy and quad bikes with my family. Our tour guide Mohammed was very friendly and made our safety his priority! We enjoyed some lovely views and got have a delicious meal prepared by a local family at the base site before departing. Our driver to the start point in agafay was also well prepared and picked us up from a well signposted pickup point near our hotel in marrakech. A great day with a mix of excitement and natural beauty. Highly reccomended!

We drove from KLIA to Marina Island Jetty in Lumut and back. Khairul was very friendly and helpful. He was always on time at the agreed place and also gave us good tips. I would definitely recommend him if you go to Malaysia!!!
